2008 Pumpkin Festival Weight-Off

The Doggie Sweatshirts were this year's hot item at the 2008 Pumpkin Weight-Off. I'm sure it had every thing to do with the fact that my friends from the Half Moon Bay Chamber of Commerce (Jameson and Harp) and I were modeling. Have you ever seen more handsome models?

No body know pumpkins like Farmer John

Nothing says Half Moon Bay like... Farmers Johns Pumpkin Patch.
You have to visit Farmer John, his wife Eda and their dog Clementine for some of their world famous pumpkins. This family farm has been a part of our Half Moon Bay Holidays since 1947 and their passion for pumpkins shine through in this pumpkin paradise.
I had so much fun visiting Farmer John, riding the tractor and running through sunflower lined patch that I didn't want to leave...so we brought our own patch back to the office.

Dozer meets Obama...well kinda

The first ever alection is going on now, at the Half Moon Bay Brewing Company. Along with the Obama and McCain Ales the Brewing Company is also selling matching tap handles and buttons, all of course were designed and produced by The GraphicWorks.

This might be the only chance I'll get to bark in on the 2008 election.

Send me in Coach!

It's kick-off time for the Half Moon Bay High School Football team and as the staff here at the GraphicWorks has been busy working away on the the new football banner and signs for the cheerleaders, I've been working on my game.

You think coach Ballard will put me in?

4th of July

I would like to thank American Legion Post 474 for putting on such an amazing firework show in the pillar point harbor. Even with the thick fog they still put on a show that won't be soon forgotten. Thank You!

volunteer of the year!

Although I was left back at the office (sigh) for the Half Moon Bay Chamber of Commerce Annual Luncheon...(apparently Mullins isn't big on letting dogs in their new beautifully remodeled restaurant.) I would have to guess, based on the pictures and the beautiful new awards hanging in the office that it must of gone pretty well. Maybe next year they'll make an exception and let me join in the fun...who knows I could become the first "Volunteer of the Year" with four legs.

WASABI...not just for sushi any more!

I'm so excited to introduce you to my spicy little friend... WASABI. Over the last few weeks I've been showing him ropes of being a first class company mascot. I'm confident that he'll due Katheryn proud as the newest addition to her Klaws, Paws, and Hooves team.

A gift for Bodhi's

Glimmerdream
has an unexpected addition to their spring line....a new mascot "Bodhi". Being the gentleman that I am, I just had to send him a little treat. So I rushed down to Doodledings Bakery and picked up some of their signature treats. The box of donuts I picked up looked so good I had to make sure the GraphicWorks employees weren't sneaking into the box for a taste...really they're only for us dogs.

My State Farm Agent

I have to tell you how great my State Farm agent, Heidi Kuiper is... during the last big storm the fence in my backyard blew down which meant that I had to be kept inside.

But Heidi and KCD Construction came to the rescue and I'll be back running a muck in the back yard in no time. In the meantime she gave me a State Farm teddy bear to help keep me company until I could return to the back yard to chase my friend Henry, the squirrel.

I love my new teddy bear so much that I take him every where with me and in the process he's lost his nose and a limb but I'm sure he won't miss them too much!

Just call me Mr. March!

Yes, the rumors are true... that is me featured as Mr. March in the Dogs of Main Street 2008 Calendar. It probably didn't hurt that the GraphicWorks designed and printed the calendars for one of my personal favorite clients, Maritsa (who ALWAYS has the best treats in her pocket) from Doodledings.
Bill Chew of Fit City the photographer and photo editor of the project, was able to capture my fun yet, professional attitude to a T! To see for yourself copies are on sale now exclusively at Doodledings Dog Bakery and Boutique. 265 Main Street!
